This weekend’s Bapco 6 Hours of Bahrain, taking place at the impressive Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir between 17-19 November, will be the scene for the thrilling conclusion to a number of championship title battles including the World Endurance Drivers’ and the World GT Manufacturers’ championships. The action will be intense, with much at stake, and there is huge anticipation throughout the 31-car field.
Bahrain will also be the scene for some emotional farewells through the paddock: Audi Sport and Rebellion Racing from LMP1 and of course 2015 World Champion Mark Webber.
The ninth and final round of the WEC begins at 16h00 local time and will race into the night. The 5.412 km (3.363 miles), 15 turn track, which can be very slippery off line due to the sand around the track,will test the drivers’ skill and driving at night under the floodlights can often produce drama.

EUROPE
Continuing their full commitment to the WEC, the full race is being shown LIVE AND DIRECT on Motors TV across Europe, on ORF in Austria, on L’Equipe 21 in France, and on BT Sport in the UK. Everyone is waiting to see who will be crowned 2016 WEC champions!
Eurosport 1 will show the race live (from 17h00 to 20h15 CET) across Europe including Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the UK (the latter on Eurosport 2). France will show the full race live from 14h00 to 20h15.
AUSTRIA
ORF will show the full race LIVE and direct, free to air on ORF Sport Plus, from 13h45 to 15h00, and then from 17h00 to 17h55, 23h00 to 01h00 (20/11) - capturing the drama of the race which includes three leading drivers.
DENMARK
With Aston Martin Racing’s Dane Train of Marco Sørensen and Nicki Thiim racing for the LMGTE Pro championship title, TV2 Sport will show the FULL RACE LIVE starting at 14h00 CET.
FRANCE
L’Equipe 21will show its free-to-air broadcast LIVE from start to finish, beginning at 13h45. Motors TV and Eurosport 1 will also show the whole race live across Europe – Frenchman Romain Dumas fighting to become World Endurance Champion.
GERMANY
Porsche sealed the World Endurance Championship in China, and Sky Deutschland will show LIVE news edits throughout the race to keep German fans up to date as Marc Lieb and his Swiss/French team mates hope to claim the Drivers’ title for Porsche.
UK
Britain’s passionate endurance racing fans can watch LIVE action on BT Sport 3 and Motors TV. There are 18 British drivers in the race, plus British-domiciled Mark Webber making his final start in professional racing, and the interest is high in Great Britain.
THE AMERICAS
Signatech Alpine may have wrapped up the LMP2 title, but Mexico’s RGR Sport team is anxious to finish its season with a win and second place in the points. LIVE coverage is being continued in Central, South and North America, and the race will be shown on FOX Sports (FS1 from 08h00 to 09h00 EST)and Fox Latin America (full race live from 19h00).
ASIA PACIFIC
Toyota’s drivers still have a chance of victory in the Drivers’ championship and the marque is looking for a second victory following its great result in Fuji. Eurosport will broadcast the full race LIVE across the Pan-Asian region from 14h00 while China’s LeTV web-based channel,which has a reach in China of over 80 million homes, will show the full race live.
AUSTRALIA
As Mark Webber’s driving career draws to an emotional close, he will be hoping to add a fifth victory to his 2016 tally and go out on a high. Fox Sports Australia will show the full race live starting at 11h30 AEST.
JAPAN
J-Sports continues its excellent coverage of the WEC, and will show the full race live to 8 million homes starting from 21h30 local time.
OTHER BROADCASTS
In addition to a number of different news access options across the UK and Europe, including the WEC’s digital media partner Motorsport.com, fans worldwide can follow the race LIVE on HD with commentary led by John Hindhaugh and Graham Goodwin, on the FIA WEC APP, plus full time keeping live.
