Some FIA WEC competitors past and present are taking the 'endurance' part of the championship's title very seriously, and are starting the year with a 24-hour race.
2014 Proton Competition Porsche driver Khaled Al Qubaisi will next week be taking part in the Dubai 24 Hours – the Emirati going for his third win at his local circuit but up against strong opposition from, among others, Aston Martin drivers Stefan Mücke and Jonny Adam plus Saudi Abdulaziz Al Faisal.
2012 LMGTE Am driver champions Stuart Hall and Jamie Campbell-Walter will also join a host of ELMS stars limbering up in preparation for the third round of the 2015 FIA World Endurance Championship, the 24 Hours of Le Mans on 13-14 June.
