With one day to go until Test Day, the drivers will have a chance to stretch their legs and refresh their memory as they take a stroll, jog or cycle around the circuit. Also on the agenda are the final technical verifications for Test Day, a Pitwalk for spectators and the official photo of all the cars in the pit straight.
Over the last two days, the competitors already at the circuit ahead of Test Day have gone through administrative and technical verifications under the Welcome building at the end of the pit straight. The verifications will continue today between 09:00 and 15:00 for competitors who need to have the changes made to their car checked over by FIA and ACO officials.
Final preparations
These verifications will surely arouse the curiosity of spectators who have come to the circuit for the Pitwalk – 10:00 to 17:00 on Saturday – to discover the installations, watch the engineers at work on the cars, and also try and catch a glimpse of their favourite driver. As the clock counts down to Test Day, when the cars will finally be unleashed on the 13.629 km circuit, all the technical crews are busy making their final preparations and tweaking their formidable racing cars.
The official group photo
The action will crank up during the day before the traditional official group photo featuring all the competitors and their cars in the pit straight. Every team must bring a car entered in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, or more if they are running several cars. The competitors will be grouped by class, with LMP1 in front, followed by the LMP2, LMGTE Pro and LMGTE Am. The photo session from 16:00 to 16:30 is a moment not to be missed. Spectators with a 24 Hours of Le Mans General Enclosure ticket or Test Day ticket have access to the grandstands to enjoy a better view.
Owing to the strict safety measures in place, spectators are strongly advised to arrive early at the circuit gates.
