Are you ready to be entertained at Fuji?

The WEC paddock, its competitors and Fuji Speedway are all getting ready to put on a fantastic week of great entertainment for the loyal and passionate Japanese fans who make the annual pilgrimage to the circuit for the 6 Hours of Fuji.

As well as 34 cars, mega stars on the driver roster including two F1 World Champions and no fewer than six Japanese drivers who will be providing plenty of excitement on track, there is also a Fan Area on the outside of the track behind the main grandstand which will be open all day on Saturday (13 October) and Sunday (14 October).

Where is WEC Man?
Fans can meet and have their photo taken with WEC Man, who will be present the whole weekend, visit the WEC booth to collect top class goodies (after filling in a survey) and learn all about the WEC and how it works by means of the fun and informative WEC School cartoons which will be on display.

Get close to the stars and cars through Augmented Reality
Another way to get an inside view of the WEC is through the easy-to-use Augmented Reality system available to fans.  Get close to your favourite driver, take a ‘selfie’ with him, or take a virtual tour of Toyota’s garage, or Ford’s or Aston Martin’s.  Look out for the special totems around the fan area and follow the instructions to get the best from this new experience.

How good is your e-game?
The inaugural season of the Le Mans Esports Series is underway, and the first Asian qualifying rounds for the Super Final – to be held at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2019 – will be held on Saturday at a special Le Mans Esports Series venue in the Fan Area.

The best sim racers – amateur or professional – can enter the series’ Super Season which offers an amazing cash prize of $160,000 - plus many other 'money-can't-buy' rewards.

There will be 12 simulators at Fuji ready to welcome Japan’s best gamers and e-racers, with the endurance race taking place between 1:00 – 3:00 pm on Sunday 14 October. To learn more, go to https://www.lemansesports.com

Something for everyone…
Added to all of the above will be a Talk Show with different drivers over the weekend, a boxing match on Saturday, a giant screen on which to follow the race on Sunday, a “Bonjour France” area to bring the Asian and European continents even closer, and a range of entertainments for the many children who love coming to Fuji Speedway.  Seeing is believing…go on, visit the Fan Area!
