Will Stevens pushed to a peak lap of 1m23.041s to just beat the sister Cadillac driven by Jack Aitken by a slender 0.048s.
Claiming the best time in the qualifying session that promoted the ten Hypercars through to the Hyperpole shoot-out was the #38 Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA Hypercar with Jack Aitken at the wheel. The British ace lapped in 1m23.482s, in a super close session that saw the top ten covered by just 0.291s
In the LMGT3 category the pole position point was captured by the #23 Heart of Racing Aston Martin Vantage as Kobe Pauwels set a fastest lap of 1m33.350s in the car he shares with Gray Newell and Jonny Adam this weekend
Peter Dempsey topped the qualifying session in the #34 Racing Team Turkey by TF Corvette to determine the top 10 that went through to the LMGT3 Hyperpole session. The Irish ace set a best lap of 1m33.808s
