De Vries on WEC Talk: “The LMP1 car is the most different car I’ve driven”

Today the FIA World Endurance Championship is proud to announce its new official podcast: WEC Talk.

Available on various platforms including Spotify, AudioBoom and Deezer, the WEC’s new podcast promises fans a unique insight into the exhilarating world of sportscars.  

With exclusive interviews from drivers, team members, management and legendary figures involved in endurance racing, fans across the world can now get their monthly sportscars fix by tuning into WEC Talk. 

The first ever episode covers four different areas of the sport including an exclusive insight into the 2020/2021 FIA WEC calendar from WEC CEO, Gérard Neveu, who also discusses the championship’s newest venues at Monza (Italy) and Kyalami (South Africa).
Rebellion Racing’s Gustavo Menezes is next up and tells fans about what they can expect at the upcoming races at COTA and Sebring.  

Meanwhile, Nyck De Vries gives an honest account of his first experience driving LMP1 machinery as we chat to him directly after the Bahrain Rookie test.  “The LMP1 car is the most different car I’ve driven throughout my racing career,” admits De Vries.
