Fans flock to Fuji Speedway!
Thousands of Japanese fans have flocked to Fuji Speedway this morning ahead of the 6 Hours of Fuji which gets underway at 11h00 local time.
Sun greeted the enthusiastic crowds as they lined up for the pit walk and an opening autograph session with the FIA WEC drivers early this morning.
Japanese manufacturer Toyota will start on pole at its home race in LMP1, while Porsche lead the LMGTE Pro cars. Jackie Chan DC Racing heads the LMP2 crews, while TF Sport top the order in LMGTE Am.
Several broadcasters and OTT platforms will show the action live from Fuji including a new TV deal in Italy where free-to-air channel Sport Italia will air the final two hours of the race.
