Fans flood in to meet home heroes
A bumper crowd will be rooting for home-grown heroes this afternoon...
As the FIA WEC entrants continue to prepare and perfect their cars ahead of the action this afternoon, the fans were pouring through the gates to interact with their heroes.
The 2018 edition of the WEC 6 Hours of Silverstone this weekend, which also encompasses the historic RAC Tourist Trophy, will witness arguably the greatest entry of driver talent seen for many a year.
The fans enjoyed the pre-race entertainment and meeting the stars of the show including Jenson Button and Fernando Alonso in the morning pit walk and autograph session in the pitlane.
