Foster replaces Gaunt at Eurasia and last minute change for Dempsey-Proton Racing

Ahead of this weekend’s upcoming TOTAL 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps which will be held behind closed doors, there have been two changes to the line-up of drivers competing in Belgium.

Nick Foster will now join Eurasia Motorsport replacing Daniel Gaunt who is unable to take part as a result of travel complications from New Zealand.

The Australian is no stranger to endurance racing having last competed with the team in the 2019-20 Asian Le Mans Series. Foster joins Japan’s Nobuya Yamanaka and former F1 driver Roberto Merhi in the No. 35 Ligier JSP217 as the Filipino team prepares for its WEC debut.

Meanwhile, there is another driver swap in the No. 88 Dempsey-Proton Racing as Italian bronze driver Gian Luca Giraudi will join Ricardo Sanchez and Lucas Legeret in the cockpit of the Porsche 911 RSR.
