Three titles are still to be settled in the upcoming 6 Hours of Monza (6-8 November), from Toyota’s internal Hypercar duel to both Drivers’ and Teams’ honours in LMGT3. See the schedule and watch live on FIAWEC+.
Toyota is already in possession of the Manufacturers’ crown, and at Monza, the Japanese automotive giant’s two crews will fight it out for Drivers’ glory, with Mike Conway looking to sign off his career in the #7 TR010 Hybrid with a bang.
Team Principal and driver Kamui Kobayashi has confirmed there will be ‘no team orders’, setting the scene for an intriguing duel for honours as the two Toyota trios compete tooth-and-nail for the Drivers’ championship.
Add in two further title battles in LMGT3 and a three-way scrap for second place among the Hypercar manufacturers, and the season finale has plenty left to resolve.

Toyota arrives at Monza with the Manufacturers’ title already in its pocket. The crown was sealed last time out in Barcelona, although not in the way Saturday had suggested. Genesis achieved the first pole position in the South Korean marque’s short history, only for rain before the start to turn Sunday into a different race altogether. On a wet Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, Sébastien Buemi took the #8 Toyota to the front and the car stayed there for most of the six hours.
Early in the second hour, Nyck de Vries passed Miguel Molina’s Ferrari to install a Toyota one-two, and from there, they simply drove away, going on to take the chequered flag in close formation, the #8 just 0.583s clear of the #7, with the #50 Ferrari of Molina, Antonio Fuoco and Nicklas Nielsen almost 40 seconds back in third. That secured Toyota its eighth FIA WEC Manufacturers/Teams’ title – its fifth in six seasons in the Hypercar era. For Monza, though, the more telling number was the gap between its two crews: 10 points going into Barcelona, 17 coming out.

Three of the season’s four titles will be decided in Italy – the Hypercar Drivers’ crown and both LMGT3 battles. With the Manufacturers’ spoils already Toyota’s, its Hypercar rivals are fighting over second place.
