The start of the FIA World Endurance Championship’s 6 Hours of Fuji is just over a week away, and the teams will soon be in place at the Fuji Speedway preparing for the penultimate race of the season.
The three hybrid-powered cars – the No.1 and No.2 Audi R18 e-tron quattros and the No.7 Toyota TS030 Hybrid – will have just four pre-determined braking zones available to them for this event. These are the areas around the 4.56km track at which the energy recuperation hybrid technology can be employed.
The zones will be at Turns 1, 2, 10 and 16. All 29 cars entered for the race will be able to benefit from the extremely impressive 1.5 km long straight.
