The entry list for the third round of the FIA World Endurance Championship, the 2016 Le Mans 24 Hours, which will be held this year on 18-19 June, has today been released by the Automobile Club de l’Ouest.

The full list of 60 cars selected to take part in the world’s greatest sportscar race – including the WEC’s 32 full season competitors – can be found HERE.  The breakdown includes 9 in LMP1, 23 LMP2s, 14 LMGTE Pros and 13 in the LMGTE Am category, plus the Garage 56 entry.

With the number of entries raised from 56 to 60 for 2016, there will be no fewer than 180 drivers at Le Mans this year, of which just over half are full season WEC regulars.  The full list represents 27 different nationalities, and the team entrants represent 19 different countries.

The highest number of drivers comes from Great Britain with 38 ahead of France (32), America (23), and Germany (11).  The USA is the country which this year supplies the highest number of cars with 12.
