MissionH24 on display in Brazil

The collaborative programme between the Automobile Club de l’Ouest (ACO) and H24Project to decarbonise motorsport will exhibit its latest prototype, the H24EVO, during the fourth round of the 2026 FIA World Endurance Championship campaign in Brazil this weekend (10-12 July).

Following last month’s 24 Hours of Le Mans – which witnessed the first public demonstration runs of a prototype powered by liquid hydrogen, the Toyota TR LH2 Racing Prototype, and the FIA’s official announcement of a hydrogen category for 2030 – the potential of the alternative energy vector will be showcased to spectators in São Paulo.

MissionH24 will display on-site at Interlagos’ Autódromo José Carlos Pace a scale model of the H24EVO – its third prototype, following the LMPH2G and H24.

Set up in the fan zone, the H24EVO will illustrate endurance racing’s commitment to decarbonising competition and, more broadly, mobility. More than ever now, motorsport serves as a technological laboratory, particularly with regard to the deployment of hydrogen and its future applications.

In the interests of sharing with the public and media the long-distance discipline’s strategy for driving the energy transition, a conference will be held at 11:30 local time (GMT-3) on Saturday, 11 July, featuring ACO President Pierre Fillon, FIA WEC CEO Frédéric Lequien, FIA Circuit Sport Director Marek Nawarecki, MissionH24 Technical Director Bassel Aslan, Michelin Motorsport Technical Director Philippe Tramond and a representative from TotalEnergies.

The discussion will focus on the challenges of decarbonisation through motorsport and the future potential of hydrogen.

Racegoers will be able to check out the H24EVO in the Interlagos fan zone from 10 July, and speak with Bassel Aslan on Sunday morning at 10:00 (GMT-3).
