More young talent to the WEC

Racing Team Nederland, entrant in LMP2, has announced that McLaren F1 junior, Nyck de Vries, will join the team for the 2018/19 FIA World Endurance Championship season after this year's 24 Hours of Le Mans.

De Vries will take the seat of Dutch veteran Jan Lammers, who will step down after making his 24th Le Mans start this June - a race he won in 1988!

Racing Team Nederland, which moves up to the WEC this year with a Dallara P217 after racing in the European Le Mans Series in 2017, unveiled its livery for the 2018/19 superseason in the Netherlands.

Team owner Frits van Eerd and ex-Formula 1 driver Giedo van der Garde will race alongside Lammers for the Spa season-opener and Le Mans, before de Vries makes his WEC debut with them at Silverstone in August.
