Nathanael Berthon leaves G-Drive Racing
02/06/2016

G-Drive Racing has today announced a parting of the ways with driver Nathanaël Berthon.

The Frenchman joined the team at the beginning of the year in the FIA World Endurance Championship, driving the No.26 ORECA 05-Nissan alongside Roman Rusinov and Rene Rast.  The season started well with a third position in LMP2 at Silverstone, followed by a further points finish at Spa last month, but the 27-year-old will continue no further with G-Drive Racing.

“I would like to thanks Nathanaël for his efforts with the team in 2016,” said G-Drive Racing’s David Clark. “We achieved two solid results in the first races at Silverstone and Spa and he showed he can be part of a front running team and we wish him every success in the future.”

News about Berthon’s replacement is expected very soon, with the official Le Mans test day being now just 3 days away.
