The WEC’s LMP1 teams will soon be resuming their pre-season testing programmes – Audi, Porsche and Toyota all due to take to different tracks in Europe, the Middle East and the USA in the next few months. Nissan is due to reveal its LMP1 hybrid challenger to the world on 1st February and will no doubt be following its own intensive test programme prior to joining its competitors at The Prologue at Circuit Paul Ricard on 27/28th March.
The entry list for the 2015 FIA WEC season will be announced in Paris on 5th February.
Whether they are racing, testing or maybe waiting for plans to be confirmed, WEC drivers from the prototype and GTE classes will be stepping up their pre-season physical training ready for another exciting new season of competition. It’s less than 100 days until the opening round in April – the 6 Hours of Silverstone – see you there!
