The season that never stops…

With the 1000 Miles of Sebring now less than 50 days away, the WEC’s drivers and competitors are keen to hone their race skills whenever and wherever possible.

One of the key dates in the year’s racing calendar for any endurance racer is the Rolex 24 at Daytona, the first major international 24-hour race of the calendar year. It takes place this weekend (26/27 January) at the famous Daytona International Speedway in Florida and some 24 current WEC drivers will be competing.

Fernando Alonso and Kamui Kobayashi from Toyota Gazoo Racing are all racing in prototypes, together with many other names from the LMP1 and LMP2 categories of the world championship.

Meanwhile, Ford’s Harry Tincknell and Olivier Pla, BMW’s Augusto Farfus, Ferrari’s Davide Rigon, Miguel Molina, Alessandro Pier Guidi and James Calado will all be aiming for success, together with further WEC race winners representing Aston Martin and Porsche teams.

Good luck and safe racing to them all.
