Offering fans a fascinating insight into the stars of the show, WEC Full Access covers everything from team briefings to heated mid-race discussions. It is the ultimate behind-the-scenes series, documenting the most private areas of the FIA WEC paddock.

For the first time this year, a manufacturer other than Ferrari graced the top step of the rostrum at Interlagos, where Cadillac broke through with a commanding maiden victory and one-two finish for its pair of V-Series.R Hypercars.

It wasn’t all plain sailing for the American marque around the famous Autódromo José Carlos Pace, as Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA had to overcome not only an early drive-through penalty for the #12 entry but also an inspired Julien Andlauer (Porsche Penske Motorsport), who stole the lead on the opening lap and thereafter held sway until almost two hours into the six-hour contest.

WEC Full Access puts viewers right in the thick of that epic tussle for supremacy, with on-board angles in all three cockpits as frustrations boiled over in the heat of the moment. Andlauer was inch-perfect as he staved off a determined Earl Bamber and recovering Will Stevens, until the New Zealander finally broke down the Frenchman’s defences to install Cadillac at the front of the field.

The in-car experience is one of the unquestionable highlights of an entertaining 40-minute episode, capturing the frenetic nature of the start of the race and the dramatic speed differential as the Hypercars weave deftly through the LMGT3 traffic – a frequent occurrence around such a short, compact lap – while simultaneously battling other Hypercars for position.

Even more extraordinary is the manner in which the drivers still have the presence of mind to calmly discuss strategy over the radio while jinking left and right through ever-diminishing gaps at eye-watering speeds. A different breed indeed…

Notably, for the first time this season, Aston Martin’s new Valkyrie truly took the fight to its Hypercar adversaries with its most competitive display to-date – Alex Riberas even executing a pair of bold overtakes on Ferrari and Toyota rivals along the way, a sight seldom seen in 2025.

In the LMGT3 category, Lexus made it two new winning manufacturers in the same race – despite double world champion José María López fearing Akkodis ASP Team’s chance had gone after picking up a penalty for pit-lane speeding approaching the midway mark.

That milestone triumph, however, was arguably overshadowed by a sensational late scrap for the runner-up spoils in the #87’s wake, with WEC Full Access going both on-board and behind closed doors in the team garages as Charlie Eastwood (TF Sport Corvette), Michelle Gatting (Iron Dames Porsche) and hometown hero Eduardo Barrichello (Racing Spirit of Léman Aston Martin) duelled wheel-to-wheel for the remaining podium places.

When the latter pulled off a pass for third with less than five minutes remaining, the partisan crowd erupted – and when Barrichello came to a halt in parc fermé afterwards, he received a rapturous reception. The fans swarmed onto the circuit in their droves once the chequered flag had fallen, all to get a glimpse of the man of the moment, the star of São Paulo. The driver who made their dreams – and his dream – come true…
