The WEC is back as the Spa paddock nears completion

The paddock at Spa-Francorchamps was a hive of activity today as the FIA WEC prepares for its return to racing for FP1 tomorrow (Thursday 13 August).

It’s been over six months since the LMP and GTE machinery last roared into action but today the pit garages have been full of excitement as the teams complete their set-ups ahead of the drivers’ arrival at the circuit tomorrow morning for track walk.

Elsewhere, Team Project 1 revealed its fresh new Mentos livery design for the No. 56 Porsche 911 RSR which will be shared by Egidio Perfetti, Laurents Horr and Matteo Cairoli.

There are also two newcomers to the LMP2 paddock: Filipino team Eurasia Motorsport and Portuguese-based squad Algarve Pro Racing.  Read about Eurasia’s driver line-up change HERE.
